The Hospital Sitters, a service of Sharp Home Care, offers 24-hour non-medical hospital sitting options for families in Atlanta, Marietta and surrounding service areas, subject to staffing and facility requirements.
What 24-hour hospital sitting includes
Caregivers provide bedside companionship, reassurance and help communicating everyday needs to hospital staff during confirmed shifts. Personal care assistance is limited to the agreed care plan, caregiver training and hospital rules. Tell our team about the support your loved one needs so we can discuss an appropriate assignment.
Continuous coverage with a confirmed schedule
The team will discuss how the requested hours will be staffed and how shift handovers will be coordinated. Twenty-four-hour coverage is a scheduling option; it does not mean one caregiver works continuously without relief. Availability and the start date must be confirmed before service begins.
Daytime, overnight and 24-hour rates

Non-medical support alongside hospital care
Our sitters supplement the hospital team. Hospital nurses and clinicians remain responsible for medications, clinical monitoring and treatment. Private companionship is not a replacement for hospital-required one-to-one observation, suicide precautions or other specialized clinical safety measures.

Our office is in Marietta. Call to check whether an assignment can be arranged at your loved one’s Atlanta-area hospital. Hospital and unit policies may affect caregiver access and permitted assistance.
